Founded in 1980, Changzhou Tianma Group Co., Ltd. Imported production technology from the British Scott Bader Co. In 1966 to produce unsaturated polyester resin for the domestic fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) industry. A high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province, we have been awarded ISO9001 certification, in addition to DNV approval for our fiberglass chopped strand mat and gel-coat resin. Manufacturing various types of fiberglass roving, fiberglass woven roving, fiberglass chopped strand mat, and fiberglass stitch-bonded mat, we have a yearly output capacity of 20, 000 metric tons. Meanwhile, we are also producing gel-coat resin, color paste, hardener, accelerator, SMC and BMC. Our third series is FRP products, such as cooling towers, storage tanks, auto accessories, and FRP chairs. The last line we are engaged in is transportation project materials, including fiberglass geo-grids, poly geo-grids, and anti-dazzle boards. Having received an export license in 1999, we have enlarged our sales volumes significantly over the past few years. With annual revenues worth USD50, 000, 000, overseas sales accounted for 10 percent of our profits in 2003. Main international markets now include Europe, the USA, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Employing over 1, 300 staff, including 420 technical and management personnel, we have been commended as a provincial grade research institute for FRP and FRP raw materials.
